Support is available for two PhD positions in the laboratory of Daniel Ruzzante at Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) for research in landscape and conservation genomics of fish in Labrador and Patagonia. A Masters (MSc) degree with a background in population genetics and molecular laboratory or bioinformatics experience is required. One project will involve fieldwork in Labrador and the other in Patagonia. Both positions expected to start in the 2015/2016 academic year.
