Tigray Biological and Biodiversity Association (TB2A)
TB2A is membership based charity organization which advocates “conservation and sustainable use of Biological resources”. It was established in 2003. and now TB2A has 50 active members.
Our vision is a rural transformation in the dryland areas of the country where smallholder households strategically increase their use of biological resources sustainably to improve their food security, nutrition, income, health, shelter, energy resources and environmental sustainability.
Our mission is to generate science-based knowledge about the diverse roles that the biotic resources play in livelihood and to use our research findings to advance policies and practices that benefit the poor and the environment.
Our Values: we strongly adhere to shared core values that guide our work and relationships with colleagues and partners at different level. Thus, our core values are:
