Rapid Response Facility — Emergency Funding for Conservation

The Rapid Response Facility provides funding for conservation emergencies in UNESCO natural World Heritage sites. Applications to the RRF must meet each of our criteria in order to qualify for funding. Please carefully read all the information available below. RRF criteria: 1. The site must be located in an eligible country: RRF grants are restricted to countries that are eligible for ‘official development assistance’ according to the OECD. A list of countries that are eligible for RRF funding can be found here. Overseas territories of developed countries may occasionally be considered, please contact the Secretariat for advice. PhD scholarship

Good day! Universities in Poland offer PhD scholarships for their doctoral schools. To apply, you need to (in short): 1. Find a professor you would like to work with to guide you and support your application (optional), 2. Apply online with a research proposal and pay the application fee (~June), 3. If 2 is successful, attend an (online) interview with a short presentation (July/September) about your past and proposal, 4. If 3 is successful and you are from outside the EU, apply for a visa (not easy to get these days), and then 5. Appear at the University with original diplomas, certificates, and translations. ስርዓተ ምሕቃቅ ምግቢ ኾምሳዕቲ (The ruminant digestive system)

ከም ከፍቲ ዝበሉ ኾምሳዕቲ ኣርባዕተ ቦኽራታት ወይ ክፋላት ዘለዎ ከሽዐ ኣለዎም።

እቲ ቀዳማይ ክፋል ከሽዐ ከዛኒ ዝበሃል እንትኸውን መጀመርታ ተበሊዑ ዝወሓጥ ምግቢ ዝኣትወሉ ክፋል እዩ። ኣብዚ ክፋል ምግቢ ኦክስጅን ብዘየድልዮም ባክተርያ ክቦክዕን ምሕቓቕ ሴሉሎዝ ክካየድን ይግበር። ብምቕፃል እቲ ምግቢ ናብቲ ካልኣይ መላሲ ዝበሃል ክፋል ከሽዐ ይሰግር። ኣብዚ ክፋል ከሽዐ ዝርከብ ምግቢ ንክኹምሳዕ ድሉው ዝኾነ እዩ። ብከይዲ ምኹምሳዕ ናብ ኣፍ ምስመፀ ድማ ዳግማይ ይሕየኽ። እቲ ዳግማይ ዝተሓየኸ ምግቢ ተዋሒጡ መጣጢ ናብ ዝበሃል ሳልሳይ ክፋል ከሸዐ ይኣትው። እዚ ኣብ ውሽጢ እቲ ምግቢ ዘሎ ኣብዝሓ ማይ ዝምጠጠሉ ክፋል ከሸዐ እዩ። ብምቕፃል እቲ ምግቢ መሕቐቒ ናብ ዝበሃል ናይ መወዳእታ ክፋል ከሸዐ ይሰጋገር። እዚ ክፋል ስሩዕ ፈሰስቲ ከሽዐ (ኤንዛይማት) ኣብቲ ምግቢ ንዝርከብ ፕሮቲን ዘሕቕቑሉ እዩ። ኦማሰም:- ካብ ኣርባዕቲኦም ቡኽራታት ከሽዐ ኾምሳዕቲ እቲ 3ይ ኮይኑ ሽንፍላ ተባሂሉ’ውን ዝፅዋዕ እዩ። ዝተዓፃፀፉ ክፋላት ብበዝሒ ስለዘለዉዎ ድማ ከም መፅሓፍ ይምሰል።
